From the outside perspective, I did not understand the appeal of living in a small town in Central Pennsylvania. However, Lewisburg's beauty, culture, and sense of community quickly showed me a different point of view.

One Lewisburg event that I have come to look forward to each Spring is the Lewisburg Arts Festival. This festival features a fabulous assortment of original art, crafts, entertainment, and food, and brings in a huge array of artists, art enthusiasts, local residents, and visitors from near and far. While strolling from vendor to vendor down Market Street, I was struck by the friendly atmosphere and a sense of pride in my community consumed me.

Many small towns in the United States have a strong appreciation of family and neighborly love, but I have never lived in a place that has as much as Lewisburg. As a newer resident of Lewisburg, I wanted to connect with and support the community I was starting to call home. As I got to know my welcoming neighbors, I learned that there are a variety of ways to become involved in the community. If you are considering volunteering, you don't need to look any further. The Lewisburg Neighborhoods Corporation has many different options in how you can become involved and also allow you to share your unique expertise. We are always looking for additional members who are interested in becoming involved and making a difference within the community.
